Only use a few months, the pure e-bike mode was broken and I contacted the Totguard Ebike official, located in the City of Industry, California. And they sent a free throttle with video of how to replace it with a throttle. I followed the steps and, It is easy to replace it. Thank you.

    If you're looking for something to have a little fun along with a daily commute in these high gas prices, this e bike pays itself off in 2 months of using it. I've had my bike for about 20 days and I can say it's amazing, after replacing the tubes and giving it a tuning up its the perfect bike to take on some muddy trails to kick up mud and its perfect for cruising up or down a road. The only cons to the bike are its uphill speed and its battery life but that isn't a huge issue for its 640$ price tag from when I bought it. These bikes are all around good quality for the money and I can not recommend enough that you buy one as it will save you money in the long run.

    I've had this bike for 2 years now, with around 4500 miles.

    This was my commuter bike, 11.6 miles one way to work. I've actually never even changed the tires. Aside from frequent punctures due to the terrible conditions of my city streets, the only issues I've had were the brakes and cassette. Explained later. I do think it's comfortable, however, I changed the handlebar, neck , and seat right away as this was meant to be a commuter for me. I wanted a more upright position and more cushion on my butt.

    -Battery life is pretty decent. With me anywhere between 175-215lbs, on the third level setting, this bike was getting around 30miles a charge. I do notice a drop in battery life in colder weather, I'd say lower than 45-50 degrees.
    -2years, and battery performance hasn't dropped. I still get the same mileage per charge.
    -The LCD display shows good amount of information, and allows you to control some performance settings.
    -The posted 19.8MPH is accurate. However that is the max speed the governor will allow on the throttle, without alterations. When pedaling I have been going 24mph assisted on flat surfaces, even faster downhill.
    -Many eBikes come with a throttle button. I've had one, they're terrible. Twist throttle is the way to go. Some you'll find with only pedal assist. I don't like those either. This bike is able to be used as a regular bike, pedal assist (roughly 7/13/20 mph), or throttle/ebike for when you want to be lazy.
    -The frame on this is solid. I've crashed it a few times, twice on the road twice messing around, and the thing is straight, components are good.
    -Headlight is plenty bright for night rides.
    -At 6' it fits me fine.

    Brakes failed at about 2000 miles. That was a $15-20 replacement. They would brake slightly, then make a snapping sound and lose all pressure. Upgrade the brakes and maybe the cables if you want to be extra safe. Otherwise, just wait until one fails and replace it then.

    The cassette failed some time prior to that. One of the gears came loose from the cassette rendering that gear inoperable, while the rest were just fine. A $22 Shimano 14-28T replacement was an easy fix.

    I would never take this out on any trail. The components just aren't made for that. I would purchase this bike if you want to ride streets or paved trails. Maybe light, smooth dirt paths. Don't let the images fool you.

    Overall, I'm happy with this purchase. It's saved on gas as well as allowed me to get some cardio in. I work from home now, but still use this to go to and from the gym (3.5mil each way), and the bike is going strong. I take a star off for the weak components, but for the current price, I can't complain. (I paid quite a bit more but this is a steal at 4/2024 pricing)

    The bike first came in in a torn up box which was nerve racking but everything was there, I put it together and rode it around for a single week, everything was perfect but then the back wheel broke off, the one wheel that came pre assembled broke off. Bike shops couldn’t work on it and I couldn’t get a refund cause I got rid of the box. After months of emailing the seller we finally got to a point where we could refund it thanks to the A-Z department. They refused to pay us the three hundred dollars that it took to send it to them, A-Z paid for it themselves. Please look for something better if you’re considering buying

    When we set Paddle Asistance to level 1, the Max. speed show on LCD is 6.1 mile/hr, but if we switch to all other Paddle Asistance mode, like 0, 2, 3... the display speed is perfect fine.
    After contact the seller, they claim that's normal, becaue that's the limit to show your speed. If you want the speed limit, you set the real speed limit, not the speed limit on LCD display, for me, that's just a excuse of their SW issue.
    Even all other funcitons are good, but the seller altitude will stop us to buy threir product in the future.
